“Before joining the early morning boot camp, I worked out 4 to 5 days a week as well as playing tennis 1 to 2 times a week. I had dropped about 10 lbs over the course of three months and was back into a size 10 and 21% body fat (down from 26%). I thought I was in shape…..
A friend and I decided to give boot camp a try and Herb promised that we would see results (neither of us believed him…).
After the first several minutes, we looked at each other and said, “I guess we’re not in shape!”
I went to boot camp for the Army over 14 years ago and wish that I had taken this class before I said my first “Yes, Drill Sergeant”. My biggest gap then and at the induction of “boot camp” with Herb was my upper body strength. I barely did the minimum push up requirement of 19 push ups in two minutes when I was 20.
Herb immediately identified my need to improve my upper body strength with the motto “if you don’t like doing it, then it is probably the exercise you need most”. As a direct result of boot camp, I have decreased my body fat to 17.9% and am wearing a size 6 (I haven’t seen a 6 since 8th grade)!! And push-ups? Bring them on!

I always look forward to Boot Camp. No matter how I feel when I enter the gym, I always have a great workout and leave feeling great. Herb seems to be able to push me that extra bit that I need to get the results I’m looking for.
He is very professional in every conceivable way: his knowledge, punctuality, attention to detail, and his ability to develop my weak areas. Fitness training is a clearly a vocation for Herb, and he is absolutely committed to every one of his numerous clients.
